Sunna Björg Helgadóttir

Sunna Björg Helgadóttir holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from the University of Iceland and a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Management from the Reykjavík University. In February of 2020 she was appointed Executive Vice President of Technical Services, which involves management of engineering projects engineering capital investment management and safety. Prior to joining HS Orka Sunna worked at Rio Tinto Alcan (Isal) for 14 years where she held various roles, including Vice President of Potroom Operations. She also worked at Alvotech between 2015-2018 as Vice President of Technical Operations and has served on the boards of various organizations during her career.
