Arna Grímsdóttir

Arna Grímsdóttir holds a Cand.Jur degree from the University of Iceland and is a certified District Court Attorney. She joined HS Orka as Excecutive Vice President of Legal Affairs in January 2021. Prior to that Grímsdóttir was the Chief Legal Officer for over a decade at Reitir fasteignafélag hf., the largest commercial real estate company in Iceland and listed on the Nasdaq OMX Iceland Exchange. She has served on the boards of various companies and organizations, including as President of UN Women Iceland (2017-2023). She was the first woman to hold the role of Vice President of the board of Valur Soccer Club (2013-2015), one of Iceland’s largest sports clubs, where she is still a representative. In addition Arna serves on the boards of Glymur ltd. and Instavolt in Iceland.
